Q. If I cancel, can I be refunded?
A. You are commiting yourself when you register. These events are budgeted per registered photographer. There are no refunds but you are credited to any of our next events.

Q. What is the Photographer/Model Ratio?
A. It differs from event to event, but it is never scheduled worse than a 2:1 ratio. Most events are much closer to 1:1.

Q. Do I need studio equipment?
A. No. At some events studio lighting or equipment can add to your possibilities, but studio equipment is never a must.

Q. Will I be stuck in a situation where everyone will be shooting the same shots as me?
A. You will have time with each model individually.

Q. What rights will I have to the images I shoot?
A.You can always use all of the images for self promotional purposes such as your website, portfolio and promo pieces, and at some events you will provided with a full release. Check each event for details on this.

Q. What equipment do I need?
A. Whatever you like. You can shoot digitally, 35mm or medium format. Whatever format you are most comfortable with.

Q. Will any of the models be hanging around a few days before/after the events for paid shoots?
A. What each model does after the scheduled event days is up to them. You can ask each model during the event if she would like to stay. Contact information for the models is not provided ahead of time for their safety.

Q. Am I required to give the models prints/scans for their time?
A. No, however photographers should recognize the models efforts and reward them. It is a great marketing tool for the photographer to have models spreading their work around.

Q. What will the shooting time versus instruction time be?
A. This varies with each event. There is limited instruction that will be given in a casual environment. Further instruction will be available to you during your shooting time if you request it. We try to provide a very hands-on type of learning environment.

Q. After I sign up, would it be possible to get email addresses for the models?
A. IMPORTANT! Exchanging contact information will be up to you and the models at the event. Some models prefer not to share contact information so if you do not get it at the event we cannot give it to you afterwards.

Q. What type of other photographers will be at the events?
A. This event is open to people of all experience levels. The idea is for experienced photographers and amateurs to be able to mingle and work, play and share stories together in a fun and casual atmosphere.
